Few details are known about the fate of African refugees who are kidnapped and tortured in the Sinai Peninsula. Meron Estefanos is an activist and radio journalist who lives in Sweden but is originally from Eritrea. For years, Estefanos has been fighting for the rights of these refugees and is in constant contact with both the kidnapped and even the kidnappers.
